Getting Started at UCSC
CruzMail and UCSC identity account information
- To sign up for your UCSC identity account first login to the MyUCSC Student Portal and then follow the link in the upper left to activate your email account/UCSC identity. If you do not see this link or are having trouble, please contact the ITS Service Center at 459-HELP or help@ucsc.edu. Read more information about UCSC identity accounts.
- Go to https://cruzmail.ucsc.edu to read email.

- CruzNet (the wireless network) is available at many campus locations. View more information about CruzNet.

- Prevent computer worms and viruses. Students must patch personally-owned Windows computers before connecting them to the network. Vulnerable or infected computers will be disconnected from the network. Read more information about security.
