Description
The Arts Computer Lab was designed and equipped to support art and film students. It has more powerful Mac Pro computers and unique software, as well as the only color printer in all IC labs. The data projector was upgraded over summer 2008 and a larger screen was installed. Video editing stations and flatbed, slide, and film scanners are also available. Headphones may be checked out from the consultant on duty. The Arts lab is on the south side of Porter College near the koi pond. The lab is on the second floor in room D-240.
Printing
By default when you tell a lab computer to print it will simply come out of the printer and $0.12/page ($0.35/page for color) will be automatically charged to your university bill -- no print card is needed. Student accounts are enabled to print bill by default. Faculty and staff can enable their account for billing by filling out a simple web form. Please note that it may take a few days to process your request.
