WebCT - UCSC Instructor Evaluation ModuleThe FITC has created two WebCT survey modules duplicating the questions asked on the UCSC Instructor Evaluation and Mid-Quarter Feedback on Teaching Forms offered by the Center for Teaching Excellence http://ic.ucsc.edu/CTE/evaluation.html This UCSC Instructor Evaluation module is customizable for inclusion of up to five departmental questions, it generates basic standard reports immediately, data can be exported to be reviewed/stored by departmental staff. Imagine the cost savings in labor, paper handling, scantron services and storage for your department. This Instructor Evaluation module can be accessed directly by the department and timed to be utilized before the course ends. Each course would have its own instance separate from other offerings and only students enrolled in the course via AIS would have access to it. Students use their UCSC account login/passwd to access WebCT. This module has been piloted by the Education and CS Departments.
